- 1 ham steak, diced
- 1 green pepper, finely diced
- 1 red pepper, finely diced
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3 (12 ounce) packages crescent rolls
- 34 cup apricot jam
Directions

1Buy the large, thick ham steak with the bone in and dice, removing the bone and fat.

2Finely dice the onion & peppers.

3Heat oil in large skillet and start to saute ham.

4then add onions and peppers and cook till softened.

5Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.

6Let filling cool, then put a spoonful on the short end of each crescent, then roll to seal.

7Bake according to roll pkg directions.

8Melt jam in microwave till spreadable.

9Brush on rolls during the last 3-4 minutes.

10Any laftover filling can be used in scambled eggs or tossed into hot pasta.
