- 2 medium cucumbers, peeled, seeded and diced
- 2 medium tomatoes, sliced into wedges
- 4 tsp. vegetable oil
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. mint leaves
- salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- chilled celery strips
Directions

1Pour buttermilk into a bowl and add remaining ingredients, except celery strips.

2Let stand 1 hour in the refrigerator, until ready to serve.

3Mix well before serving.

4Serve with chilled celery strips as an appetizer.
