- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 2 eggs, unbeaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift flour 3 times.

2Cream butter.

3Add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.

4Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each one.

5Add flour alternately with milk, a small amount at a time, until all of flour is used.

6Add vanilla. Bake in greased muffin tins 20 minutes in 375° oven.

7Makes 18 large or 24 small muffins.
