- 2 whole chicken breasts, boned, skinned and split
- 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained and cut in half
- 1 Tbsp. seasoned dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 c. dry white wine
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices (1 oz. each) Swiss cheese
- 12 spears fresh asparagus, blanched, or 12 broccoli flowerets, blanched
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Pound chicken breasts to flatten. Place one slice of cheese over each chicken breast.

3Place three asparagus spears or three broccoli flowerets in center of dish. Place two half slices of bacon on top.

4Sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon bread crumbs.

5Bring two sides of chicken together and secure with wooden pick.

6Place seam side down in buttered 2-quart rectangular baking dish.
