- 125 g butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 34 cup caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
- 12 cup milk
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 14 teaspoon butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons water, approx
- 14 teaspoon vanilla
- candy sprinkles
Directions

1Preheat oven to 180C.

2Cream butter, essence and sugar until light and fluffy.

3Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

4Sift flour and baking powder, fold into creamed mixture, stir in milk.

5Place 12 large paper patty cases in deep muffin tins.

6Spoon mixture evenly into paper cases.

7Bake for about 16 minutes or until cakes spring back when lightly touched.

8Transfer to wire rack to cool.

9When cold decorate.

10Icing: Sift icing sugar into a bowl.

11Add butter and sufficient water to mix to a spreadable consistency; flavour with essence.

12Pour sprinkles into a bowl.

13Ice cakes and then dip in sprinkles.
