Ingredients

  • 1 pt. cottage cheese (small curd)
  • 1/2 lb. margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • sugar
  • cinnamon
  • 1 box currants
  • 1/4 c. butter

    Mix first 3 ingredients and chill overnight.

    Divide dough into 3 parts.

    Roll each out thicker than pie crust into a rectangle.

    Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and 1/3 box currants across each piece of dough, then dot each roll with butter.

    Roll like a jelly roll. Flatten a little across top of roll with rolling pin. Bake at 350° to 375° for 15 to 20 minutes. Do not grease pan.
