Curried Fruit Compote Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) can peach halves, liquid removed
  • 1 (1 lb.) can pear halves, liquid removed
  • 1 (1 lb.) can apricot halves, liquid removed
  • 1 (1 lb.) can pineapple chunks, liquid removed
  • 1 (1 lb.) can dark sweet cherries, liquid removed (omit if you like)
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon curry pwdr

Directions

    Cut peach and pear halves in half.

    Place all fruit except cherries in 2 qt casserole.

    Heat butter, blend in sugar and curry.

    Spoon over fruit.

    Bake at 325 degrees for 15 min.

    Add in cherries and mix.

    Cook 15 more min.
  8. 8
    Serve hot with meat.
