  • 2 1/2 c. milk, scalded
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell

    Combine milk, sugar, vanilla and salt; mix well. Slowly stir into eggs. Pour into pie shell and bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until a fork is slid in and comes out clean.
