  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 2 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg

    Prepare pie shell.

    Beat eggs slightly with hand beater.

    Beat in remaining ingredients.

    Pour filling in pie shell.

    Reduce oven temperature to 350°. Bake until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes longer.
