- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 2/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1Heat oven to 450°.

2Prepare pie shell.

3Beat eggs slightly with hand beater.

4Beat in remaining ingredients.

5Pour filling in pie shell.

6Bake 20 minutes.

7Reduce oven temperature to 350°. Bake until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, 15 to 20 minutes longer.

8Refrigerate any remaining pie immediately.
