  • 4 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • dash of nutmeg

Directions

    Combine first 4 ingredients; blend well.

    Slowly add hot milk. Pour in crust.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Bake at 475° for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to 425° for 10 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
