- 1 c. powdered milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 c. tepid water
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 tsp. almond
- nutmeg for top
Directions

1Brush pie shell with egg white; let dry.

2Preheat oven to 425°. Use lower shelf in oven.

3Mix small amount of water with dry ingredients.

4Beat in eggs one at a time.

5Add the rest of flavoring.

6Pour into unbaked pie shell.

7Bake at 400 for 25 minutes; turn over to 325° until knife inserted on outside edge of custard comes out clean, about 25 minutes.

8Let set and center will finish cooking.

9Sprinkle nutmeg on filling just before you bake.
