- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
- 4 slightly beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. milk, scalded
- nutmeg
Directions

1Blend eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.

2Gradually stir in scalded milk. Pour into pie shell.

3Sprinkle with nutmeg.

4Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife in center of custard comes out clean.
