  • 7 to 8 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. hot milk (canned milk)
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • sprinkle of nutmeg
  • 1 large deep (10-inch) pie crust

Directions

    Beat eggs until foamy, then add sugar, salt, milk, hot water and vanilla.

    Pour into pie crust.

    Sprinkle top with nutmeg and bake 15 minutes at 450°, then at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
