- 1/2 cup rice
- 1 quart milk
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 cup butter
- 4 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- cinnamon or nutmeg
Directions

1Mix rice with 2 cups milk.

2Cook until tender.

3Add raisins and butter.

4Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt and remaining milk.

5Stir into hot rice mixture.

6Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.

7Sprinkle with cinnamon.

8Set in pan and fill pan half full of warm water.

9Bake in 350 oven for about 30 minutes until set.
