  • 3 beaten egg yolks
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. scalded milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Combine beaten egg, salt and sugar. Gradually stir in milk; cook in a double boiler over hot water until mixture coats a spoon, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and chill.
