  • 2 1/2 qt. tightly packed dandelion blossoms, picked in full bloom (April)
  • 4 qt. boiling water
  • 3 qt. sugar
  • 1 lb. seedless raisins
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cake yeast

Directions

    Wash blossoms well and drain.

    In a large container with cover, pour boiling water over dandelion blossoms and let stand overnight.

    The next morning, strain out blossoms and discard them.

    Return liquid to container and add sugar.
