  • 12 cup shortening
  • 14 cup white sugar, plus
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 14 cup brown sugar, plus
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 12 teaspoon vanilla
  • 12 teaspoon baking soda
  • 14 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 14 cup dandelion flowers
  • 1 12 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

    Mix together the sugars + shortening until creamy.

    Add vanilla and egg and beat well.

    Mix all dry ingredients including petals.

    Drop by spoonfuls or roll into balls about 1/2 inch diameter on ungreased cookie sheet.

    375* for about 7 minutes or til golden brown.
