- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 beaten egg
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 bay leaf
Directions

1Mix the first 3 ingredients together. Roll into 1-inch balls. Roll the meatballs in the flour; brown.

2Dissolve the bouillon cube in the boiling water.

3Pour over the meatballs.

4Simmer gently 1 hour.

5Add the bay leaf during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

6Add water as necessary during simmering to make a delicious gravy.

7Remove leaf before serving.
