- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
Directions

1Blend and mix to a paste the first two ingredients.

2Round into a ball and divide in two.

3Put into two long strips on ungreased baking sheet.

4Then mix the butter, water and almond.

5Bring to a boil.

6Remove from heat.

7Add flour and sugar.

8When smooth, add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

9Divide in two and spread evenly over pastry.

10Bake 1 hour in 350° oven.

11Do not underbake.
