Ingredients

  • 500 g white flour
  • 250 ml milk (warm)
  • 1 eggs
  • 40 g sugar
  • 50 g soft butter
  • 25 g fresh yeast

Directions

    Add yeast to the warmed milk

    Add sugar, eggs, melted butter and a pinch of salt to the milk.

    Slowly add the flour and knead until a dough

    Set the dough to rise in a warm place, loosely covered in cling film for 1 hour.

    Cut the dough into 40g pieces and roll out

    Add filling (cheese & ham) and make a ball around it with the dough.

    Grease and paper a large round baking tray
  8. 8
    Stuff the balls tightly into the baking tray

    Leave filled balls to rise for another .5 hours.

    Brush lightly with egg yolk and milk.

    Bake in a pre heated oven at 170 for 30 minutes or until brown on top.
