Darwin'S Apple Crunch

   In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass pan, spread the apple filling. Sprinkle cake mix evenly over apple filling.

   Slice butter into strips and place over the cake mix.

   Sprinkle the walnuts or pecans over entire mixture; bake at 375° for 1 hour or until cake is golden brown.

   Serves 10 to 12.
