  • 1 lb. chopped dates
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 can coconut

Directions

    Cook dates, butter, yolks, sugar and vanilla in heavy iron skillet.

    Stirring constantly, boil 5 minutes.

    Add Rice Krispies and pecans.

    Shape into bite-size pieces; roll into coconut.
