- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash of salt
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 can coconut
Directions

1Melt margarine and dates.

2Add all ingredients, except Rice Krispies and coconut.

3Cook for 6 minutes until all ingredients dissolve, stirring constantly.

4Remove from heat and cool slightly.

5Mix in Rice Krispies.

6Form into balls and roll in coconut.

7Cool and store in plastic container.

8Will last up to 2 weeks.

9Yields 2 to 3 dozen.
