- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 c. dates, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. milk
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. finely chopped nuts
- 1 c. coconut
Directions

1Cook butter, sugar and dates over heat until mixture boils. Mix together eggs, milk, salt and vanilla.

2Add to the first mixture.

3Cook 2 minutes.

4Cool and add nuts and Rice Krispies. Form into small balls and roll in coconut.

5Do not bake.

6They freeze well.

7Makes 4 to 5 dozen.
