Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. dates, cut up
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • coconut

Directions

    Cook dates, butter and sugar until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly.

    Beat egg, milk and vanilla.

    Add to cooked date mixture and boil 2 minutes more.
  4. 4
    Cool and add Rice Krispies. Form into balls with buttered hands.

    Roll in coconut.
