- 1/2 lb. dates, cut up
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 egg
- 1 Tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- coconut
Directions

1Cook dates, butter and sugar until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly.

2Beat egg, milk and vanilla.

3Add to cooked date mixture and boil 2 minutes more.

4Cool and add Rice Krispies. Form into balls with buttered hands.

5Roll in coconut.
