- 1 stick butter
- 1 egg
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 can coconut
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet.

2Add dates and sugar to butter.

3Stir and cook

4until mixture thickens and turns dark brown (3 to 5 minutes).

5After mixture boils, add vanilla.

6Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies.

7Cool slightly and form into small balls.

8Roll in coconut or powdered sugar.
