- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 c. dates, chopped
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 pkg. coconut
Directions

1Over low heat, melt butter, sugar and egg yolks.

2Add dates; cook and stir 10 minutes.

3Remove from heat; add rest of ingredients except coconut.

4Let cool; roll into balls, then into coconut.

5Makes 3 dozen.
