Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. coconut

Directions

    In a saucepan over medium heat, place dates, butter and sugar. Stir constantly until melted.

    Slowly add slightly beaten eggs; cook until thickened.

    Add vanilla.

    Remove from heat.

    Add Rice Krispies and nuts.

    Stir.

    Roll in balls, then roll in coconut until covered.

    Cover and place in icebox to chill.
