- 1 lb. dates, cut and pitted
- 1/2 lb. butter or oleo
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 c. Rice Krispies
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 2 cans coconut or 3 c. coconut
Directions

1Boil dates, butter, sugar and eggs together for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring until thickened.

2Add to Rice Krispies, walnuts and coconut.

3Mix well.

4Cool for 30 minutes.

5Roll into balls.

6Then roll in confectioners sugar.
