  • 1 lb. dates, cut and pitted
  • 1/2 lb. butter or oleo
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 cans coconut or 3 c. coconut

Directions

    Boil dates, butter, sugar and eggs together for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring until thickened.

    Add to Rice Krispies, walnuts and coconut.

    Mix well.

    Cool for 30 minutes.

    Roll into balls.

    Then roll in confectioners sugar.
