- 2 sticks butter or oleo
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. chopped dates
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- fine coconut
Directions

1In a heavy kettle over low heat, melt butter.

2Add sugar, dates and eggs.

3Cook 3 or 4 minutes, stirring constantly. (Scorches easily.)

4Remove from stove and add 3 cups Rice Krispies and nuts, walnuts, pecans, etc.

5Mix well.

6When cool enough to handle, form into balls or logs and roll in fine coconut.
