- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 1/2 c. cut up dates
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Beat eggs with sugar until thick.

2Sift dry ingredients and add to first mixture.

3Beat until smooth.

4Add nuts, dates and vanilla.

5Bake in greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes. Cut in squares.

6Roll in confectioners sugar.
