- 1 egg, well-beaten
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 ounces pitted dates, chopped
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1In electric skillet set at 300 degrees (or heavy pan over low heat), cook butter, sugar, dates and egg until gooey and thickened. about 7-10 min.

2Add pecans and vanilla.

3Then add Rice Krispies.

4Mix well.

5Cool until slightly warm.

6Form into balls & roll in powdered sugar.

7Makes 50-60 small balls.
