Date Nut Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 8 oz. chopped dates
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt margarine in saucepan.

    Add sugar, nuts and dates.

    Cook on very low heat for 10 minutes.

    (Do not overcook.) Remove from heat.

    Add vanilla and Rice Krispies.

    Mix well.

    Roll in balls and roll in powdered sugar.
