Date-Nut Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 pkg. chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • coconut

Directions

    Cook mixture of sugar, egg, margarine, dates and nuts for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Roll into small balls, then roll in coconut.

    (You may grease hands with butter to prevent mixture from sticking to your hands.)
