- 2 1/3 c. flour
- 2/3 c. chopped dates
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/3 c. chopped nuts
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix all ingredients with fork until dates are coated with flour.

2Stir in 1 cup warm water; do not overmix.

3Pour into well-greased loaf pan.

4Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
