  • 1 lb. chopped dates
  • 1 qt. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 4 eggs

Directions

    Boil sugar and butter. Let cool. Roll dates in flour. Add eggs and vanilla to sugar mix. Stir in dates and flour a little at a time. Add pecans. Bake at 250° for 2 1/2 hours.
