  • 1/2 cup pitted soft dates like medjool
  • 1 cup milk (low-fat is O.K.!)
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup silken tofu
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon orange-flower water (optional)

Directions

    In a blender, combine dates and milk at low speed until dates are completely broken up.

    Add remaining ingredients and process at high speed until the mixture is smooth, with bits of the dates visible.

    Pour into iced glasses.
