Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 potatoes
  • 2 c. sour cream
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 1 onion, chopped (optional)
  • grated Cheddar/Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 large can French fried onions

Directions

    Rinse, peel and slice potatoes.

    Boil until tender.

    Drain. Layer potatoes, cheese mixture and 1 large can of French fried onions.

    End with another layer of the same.

    Bake 25 minutes. Brown top onions.
