Deer Chili

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground deer meat
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 small can tomato sauce
  • 2 can beans (chili or any mixture)
  • 2 small cans tomato paste
  • 1 large can tomatoes, chopped
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In a large pot, brown meat, onions and pepper; drain.

    Add rest of ingredients except beans.

    Use enough water to make it as thick as you like.

    Add beans after it starts cooking.

    Simmer at least one hour.

    May use all deer meat.
