- deer meat, cut into small chunks
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- vegetables (as desired and used for beef stew)
- 1 can tomato paste
- meat tenderizer
- 2 bay leaves
Directions

1Brown meat and onions in small amount of butter; add meat tenderizer, pepper, bay leaves and tomato paste.

2Add water according to desired consistency.

3Bring to boil, then simmer for 2 to 3 hours, or until meat is tender.

4After meat is tender, add vegetables; continue simmering until vegetables are done.

5Add regular salt after stew is done if needed.
