  • 1 (5 oz.) pkg. regular vanilla pudding and pie filling
  • 2 1/2 c. whole milk
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut extract
  • 1 c. coconut flakes
  • 1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. whipped topping, thawed
  • 3/4 c. toasted coconut flakes (for garnish)

Directions

    Combine pie filling mix and 2 1/2 cups milk in saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.

    Remove from heat. Add coconut extract and 1 cup coconut flakes.
