- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 to 5 c. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 eggs
- melted butter or egg glaze
Directions

1Combine sugar, salt, yeast and 2 cups flour in a large mixer bowl.

2Combine milk and butter and heat until very warm 120 to 130 degrees.

3With mixer speed on low, gradually beat warm liquid into dry ingredients.

4Increase speed, occasionally scraping sides of bowl, and beat 2 or 3 minutes.

5(Beating batter early in the combining process helps build the gluten, enabling the rolls to rise better.)
