Ingredients: 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened; 1 c. sugar; 4 eggs; 1 c. all-purpose flour; 1/4 tsp. salt; 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup; 1 c. chopped pecans; 1/2 tsp. almond extract; 1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened; 2 c. powdered sugar, sifted; 2 1/2 Tbsp. green creme de menthe; 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels; 1/2 c. butter or margarine

1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup

2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
2 1/2 Tbsp. green creme de menthe

Directions

Cream 1/2 cup butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with chocolate syrup, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

Stir in pecans and almond extract.
