- 4 to 6 medium pork chops
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 (14 oz.) can whole tomatoes
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 rib celery, chopped
- 1/2 c. green onion tops, chopped
- 1/2 c. parsley, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 (6 oz.) pkg. wild rice
Directions

1Brown chops and onion in large skillet.

2Add next 6 ingredients.

3Cook for 20 minutes over low heat.

4Add wild rice to chops using 1/2 amount of the water called for on package.

5Stir well.

6Cook covered for 30 minutes until liquid is gone.

7Serves 4 to 6. You may substitute chicken for the pork chops, but the skin should be removed.
