- 1 stick Parkay margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 whole eggs and 1 egg yolk (save the white of fourth egg for icing)
- 4 sq. baking chocolate, melted in 1 c. hot water
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. sweet milk
- 2 tsp. vinegar
- 2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Beat margarine and sugar.

2Add eggs (3 whole eggs and egg yolk of fourth egg).

3Add flour and salt.

4Mix the milk, vinegar and baking soda well; add to cake batter.

5Add vanilla.

6Pour into greased tube pan; bake for 1 hour at 350°.

7Ice with Seven-Minute Icing.
