Deviled Chicken Thighs

Ingredients
- 1 large clove garlic
- 1 large slice ginger or 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
- 1/4 c. dry sherry
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. hot pepper (cayenne)
- 4 skinned chicken thighs or breasts
Directions

1Put garlic through press.

2Mince fresh ginger.

3Combine both with soy, pepper and water.

4Bring to boil in heavy pan large enough to hold chicken.

5Add chicken.

6Reduce heat.

7Simmer in covered pan 10 minutes.

8Remove cover.

9Turn chicken pieces over and raise heat so liquid boils briskly.

10Boil chicken 10 to 12 minutes until liquid evaporates and chicken turns a golden color. Serve with rice.

11Remaining liquid is good over the rice.
