Ingredients

  • 18 oz. minced clams
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. crumbled bread
  • 1 c. rich milk or canned milk
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley
  • 2 eggs, beaten

    Melt butter.

    Add onion; simmer (not brown).

    Blend flour and add clams, bread, milk, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, parsley and eggs.

    Cook together.

    (You can add chopped boiled eggs in clam mixture after cool.)

    Scrub clam shells and pack ingredients in shells.

    Sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs; bake until brown. Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes.
