- 2 c. water
- 1 c. unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 3/4 c. cooking oil
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cook raisins in water until most of the water is gone.

2Add applesauce and eggs and mix well.

3Sift dry ingredients together. Add vanilla and all ingredients together.

4Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.

5Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife inserted comes out clean.
