- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 c. creamed cottage cheese, slightly heated
- 1 Tbsp. butter or oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion (fresh or dry)
- 2 tsp. dill seed
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Directions

1Soften yeast in warm water for 5 minutes.

2Combine cheese, butter, sugar, salt and soda.

3Add onions, dill seed, egg and softened yeast.

4Beat well to blend thoroughly.

5Add flour; mix well.

6Cover and let rise until double (about 1 hour).

7Punch down and put in a greased loaf pan.

8Let rise 30 to 40 minutes.

9Bake at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Brush with butter.
