  • cucumbers
  • 13 to 13 1/2 c. water
  • 6 to 6 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 2 to 3 hot peppers (optional)
  • dill

Directions

    Wash and clean cucumbers.

    Cut in quarters lengthwise.

    Pack in clean jars.

    Add 2 heads of dill to each jar and hot peppers, if used.

    Mix water, vinegar and salt; bring to boil.

    Pour into jars over cucumbers.
